This jam-packed 2 hour training workshop, run at the Home Office, aims to familiarise economists with behavioural assumptions, covering both neoclassical and alternative approaches. In doing so, it will enable the attendee to grasp both the theoretical as well the practical behavioural considerations required day-to-day for GES economists.
Topics covered include: * Neoclassical economics * Keynes’ Animal Spirits * Behavioural Economics * Nudge theory
Prerequisite: you must have completed your GES Induction or the Introduction to Economic Appraisal course, or both, before attending this course.
This workshop is run by volunteer GES economists so is free to attend, but unfortunately we are unable to provide any funding for travel or accommodation expenses. Joining instructions will be sent a few days before the training workshop.
