Beers for Good is back after a break and the world is going more crazy. What is it to act to create a positive change? What can help give us direction? We’re joined by Sam Conniff, founder of the agency ‘Livity’ and previous Beers for Good speaker. Sam’s writing a book, Be More Pirate about the anti-establishment spirit that existed in the early formation of pirates. Not your Jack Sparrow, but the group of pioneers, 300 years ago, who stood up to a self-serving establishment intent on degrading humanity and environment. Sound familiar? The pirates got together, said ‘fck you’ and experimented with extreme citizenship, free-trade, fair pay and trade unions.
