Beers For Good VI

location The Assembly | 6:30 PM-10 PM Wednesday 16 September 2015 (BST)

Beers For Good is a meet-up for people in advertising who are interested in making a positive difference together.

Every month, we invite someone to share their experience of making a positive change in their life. We intend to share questions, challenges and discuss ways we can use our creative skills for good.

This month, we've invited Henry Hitchcox to talk about setting up 'Action Productions'. Action Productions is an ethically driven film agency and is responsible for the great 'Kindness Experiment' film showing that Londoners can be lovely. It's been watched and shared millions of times. Henry will share his story and how being ethically-minded is opening up lots of interesting avenues for work.

Henry has a clear sense of the purpose of his company and how he decides what work to take and not to take. We feel it's a great example of an agency having taken the 'purpose-turn', the opportunity we share in our recent Comms Lab report 'Reclaiming Agency'.

We're very grateful to The Assembly who are hosting us at their agency in Shoreditch this month. They've also kindly offered to provide the essentials (beer and wine!).

So please come along to be inspired and join like-minded folk who are looking to change advertising for the better.
