Come and make the C.A.T.S. takeover famous
Beers for Good regular James Turner and the C.A.T.S. (Citizens Advertising Takeover Service) team successfully crowdfunded £23K+ to replace the ads on Clapham Common tube station with pictures of cats.
Their takeover starts the second week in September and so Beers for Good XII will be about how to make and keep the campaign famous. We’ll be asking for your best ideas and whether you want to help make it happen. Please come along if you want to make a little bit of advertising history (assuming mischievous moggies have never taken over a tube station before).
C.A.T.S. is the first project from Glimpse, a new collective of people from the creative industries who want to use their skills for good. Instead of talking about the problem, they aim to show a ‘glimpse’ of a better world which helps make it seem attractive and inspiring.
For Beers for Good regulars - note change of location. UPSTAIRS at the Crown Tavern, not the Betsey Trotwood. We needed a bigger space!
About Beers for Good:
Do you work in advertising and the creative industries and have questions like ‘How can I use my skills to do more good?’, ‘How can I live my values at work?’ and ‘Am I the only one asking these kind of questions!?!’
If so, you’ll be in good company.
Beers for Good is a meet-up for people in advertising who are interested in using their skills for good in their day job. At our regular events, we invite someone to share their experience of making positive change. We share questions, challenges and discuss ways we can use our creative skills for good.
If you’d like to hear about future events and join a community of over 400 people making a positive difference in advertising then join the Comms Lab Facebook Page and follow @comms_lab on Twitter.
