We're playing The Indie Hack!
This is for three sessions of The Indie Hack. Being able to attend each session is ideal, but not required. You must RSVP to each session you wish to attend.
“Tonight’s feature presentation is Blood in the Chocolate. I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a bad visit to the proctologist to me.
Clean-up on aisle five!
Just kidding, just kidding…Blood in the Chocolate is a French horror film that touches on themes of creative ennui and existential dread. In the film, a sensitive young candy maker named Pierre is faced with the impending death of his mother, the cruel and dismissive Lucia. Pierre hates Lucia, and blames her for his inability to form healthy relationships with women, but he also desperately needs her, because his instinct to push back against her cruelty is what drives his candy making artistry and blah blah blah.
Look: Lucia comes back as a ghost and torments Pierre until he kills himself by slicing open his wrists into a vat of chocolate. Fin.
If that sounds like your thing, then, by all means, grab a box of M&Ms, lean back in your Laz-y-Boy and enjoy…BLOOD IN THE CHOCOLATE!”
