Christchurch Arts Forum

Let's talk about the evolution of arts in Christchurch

Six experts weigh in on their loves and loathes in Christchurch's current architectural landscape - and how to move forward.

Join us for electric, art-full conversations with a side of delicious eats and great libations in an inspiring space.

On the night, we’ll be hearing from…

  • Patrick Clifford of Architectus - the very man responsible for the St Andrew’s College Centennial Chapel.
  • Matt Arnold of Sons & Co - a local graphic designer with an eye (and an opinion) for architecture.
  • Vanessa Carswell of Warren and Mahoney – who counts the restoration of Isaac Theatre Royale amongst her achievements.
  • Bernie O'Fagan of RM Designs – who has been recognized for his work on designs using timber.
  • Jessica Halliday, an architectural historian and the co-director/co-founder of Te Pūtahi - Christchurch centre for architecture and city-making.
  • Hugh Nicholson, who is deeply involved in rebuilding our city as Design Lead for Regenerate Christchurch's Residential Red Zone.

Keen to join us? We have limited capacity, so make sure you RSVP to secure your spot.
