Computation Club: Physically Based Rendering, Shading Our Spheres

We've just started a new book called 'Physically Based Rendering'. It explains how ray tracing works, a way to create realistic computer graphics.

This will be our third meeting for this book. Last time we got the basics of a ray tracer working. This meeting, we're going to continue mob programming and try to 'shade our spheres' by adding lighting effects.

This is a continuation of the material in chapter 1.2.

Upon arrival, tap on the glass doors and the security guard will let you in. Let him know you're here for Computation Club and he'll direct you to the third floor.

If you have any questions at all, please join us on Slack

Any and all are welcome (especially if you've never attended before) and please remember that all attendees are asked to abide by our code of conduct.
