NYU CUSP final student presentations

Please join us to attend the final project presentations of NYU CUSP graduate students.

The class titled “Civic Analytics and Urban Intelligence” taught by Prof. Neil Kleiman has, over this past semester, been actively researching concepts around how emerging technologies and analytics influence the shaping of, and implementation of public policy in cities.

We plan to have 10 student presentations, 5 minutes each followed by a quick Q&A discussion where you are invited to participate in along with a small group of guests. The presentations have been organized across 5 core urban policy areas:

  1. Smart Cities, Civic Tech, Open Government & Data
  2. Human Services (Health, Education, Public Safety and Criminal Justice)
  3. Transit and Transportation
  4. Environment, Infrastructure and Sustainability
  5. Economic, Real Estate Development & Affordable Housing

We also encourage you to review the student’s short weekly “signal” assignments on MEDIUM in advance of the presentations.

Thank you and looking forward to seeing you at Civic Hall.
