Digital and social media are essential elements of engagement and participation activity for organisations working with children and young people. But, how in this rapidly changing area do we stay relevant, what is effective, how do we manage risks and safeguard participants. Whilst we embrace the opportunities of digital how do we ensure true participation?

Join us for the fifth Digital Participation Meetup to explore these topics, share best practice and connect with others.

The meetup - very kindly hosted by Barnardo's - will be a small, informal event for anyone in digital youth engagement and participation to discuss real examples of what does/doesn't work, meet colleagues working on similar challenges and share useful research, news or updates.

The morning will include short case studies from Ofcom, Dr Richard Graham, Flow Associates and BBC School Report plus plenty of time for discussion and networking.

Outcomes: Through this Meetup, we hope to strengthen links between organisations and professionals, highlight innovative practice and help others avoid common pitfalls so that, ultimately, all children and young people can share their views and opinions online safely, effectively and easily.

Places are limited and by invite only so please save yours now.
