Join us to celebrate one year of Hustle Crew and the release of “Dream Big. Hustle Hard: A Millennial Woman’s Guide to Success in Tech” at the stunning new Huckletree West space, hosted by Abadesi Osunsade, founder of Hustle Crew and Deborah Okenla, founder of YSYS and Memberships Manager at Huckletree.
The night will feature an interactive audience Q&A covering the most burning career issues millennials face at work today like how to find the right opportunities, how to find the right mentors and how to negotiate for more, with guest speakers Claud Williams, Founder of Dream Nation and Jai Clarke-Binns and Soala Brogan, Founders of People of Creativity.
Abadesi Osunsade has worked for major tech players like Amazon and Groupon, for high-growth startups like HotelTonight and even spent time in the FT newsrooms. She has a wealth of experience under her belt and this new book outlines how she navigated the tech industry with zero coding skills; tips, tools and tricks of the trade. She’ll kick off the night by sharing her secret-sauce interview tactics that maximise job offers.
If you’re an underrepresented person at university or in the first few years of your career with ambitions to build a career in a tech startup, this event is for you! There will be plenty of time for making new connections plus your chance to win a free copy of the book. Refreshments will be provided too. Please arrive promptly as we’ll kick off at 7pm and you don’t want to miss out :)
