#DrinksThing at Natural History Museum @NHM_London

Join us at #NHMLates on Friday 29 July to celebrate the launch of the Natural History Museum’s new #ColourAndVision exhibition!

Lates starts at 18.00 but if you’re in the Museum beforehand feel free to hang around until everything kicks off. The Museum remains open until 22.00 and there should be plenty to keep everyone entertained. A series of free events around the galleries will help you explore nature’s colour palette, while tasty food and drink will be served all evening.

Entrance to the Museum is free, but we’ll also have special access to the Members Bar from 19.00 until 21.45: the perfect way to avoid the queues. Make your way to the Images of Nature gallery (toward the Dinosaurs from Hintze Hall) to pick up your pass from Vicky (send a DM if you find yourself stuck).

The #ColourAndVision exhibition itself will be open on the night (although you’ll need to book tickets or buy them on the night – reciprocal entry sadly not redeemable at Lates). At 19.30, exhibition developer Fiona will be on hand to give a special tour for anyone visiting the exhibition with #DrinksThing – meet opposite the Members Bar entrance in Dino Way (this is right next to the exhibition entrance).

Also feel free to attend one of the evening’s bookable events: find all the info at nhm.ac.uk/lates

Over the last year, we’ve had people attend Drinks Thing from all kinds of jobs: publishing, animation, digital, tech, start up, museums, heritage, science and more. This is an event for anyone that wants to meet with interesting people in London.

Follow @DrinksThing on Twitter to keep up-to-date with our monthly free events.

We hope to see you there, Mar (@mardixon) & Will (@w_stanley)
