Blue Monday Lunch Session
Is happiness a key factor in high performing teams?
We believe that happiness is a far stronger motivator than fear, so we invest in a culture of positive energy to help us and our clients raise ambitions and produce ideas that people love to share.
Taking key insights from positive psychology, we set up the EARN Happiness School with a mission to “make work our happy place”. First and foremost, this was a chance for our own team to understand more about the science of happiness but it quickly became something we could share with our own community.
This annual session gives our team, clients and partners the chance to gain some knowledge from leading thinkers from the world of positive psychology. After our 2015 session, with guest speaker Rohan Silva (former advisor to David Cameron and creator of the UK’s Happiness Index) we wanted to introduce another friend of EARN who can enlighten, inspire and kick-start everyone’s new year to ensure it’s the most positive and productive one yet.
For our 2016 session we’re really pleased to welcome Dr Tim O’Brien. Tim is an award-winning psychologist who currently works in business and sport. He has been the First Team Psychologist with Arsenal Football Club for ten years and has also worked with other Premier League Football Clubs too.
Tim’s specialism is coaching individuals and teams in a range of global businesses across a variety of business sectors including Red Bull, Nike, Disney, BBC and of course, EARN.
For this session he will be asking the question, “Is happiness a key factor in high performing teams?”
Come along and hear Tim’s take on things, enjoy some delicious lunch and also take away some happiness tips from our resident positive psychologist Bridget Grenville-Cleave.
