Economics Education for Everyone Summit

location Chartered Accountants Hall | 10 AM Monday 08 October (BST)

Every young person deserves an opportunity to understand the world they are growing up in.

50% of 18-24 year olds feel the way politicians and the media communicate about economics is 'inaccessible' to them and 'difficult to understand'; another 20% 'Don't know'.

We need to help all young people feel able to understand and discuss the economy around them.

This Autumn Economy will be hosting a full-day event for teachers, organisations, leaders in education and stakeholders from a school age and upwards to explore the need for inspiring economic education which is accessible to all.

Together we will ask: How might we foster a generation of young people that feel confident, capable and curious about the economy around them?

Sign up to receive further information on our full day of workshops, roundtables and speakers showcasing the impact of economic literacy and exploring innovative, forward-thinking approaches to making economics education freely available from a school age.

Economy is a charity and movement on a mission to make conversation on the economy accessible to everyone. Our vision is a world in which everyone is able to confidently take part in important conversations about their future, regardless of educational background.
