How can you improve the learning process with formative assessment and using digital resources? In this lecture Patricia explains how she and her students have improved their work with different formative strategies using a variety of digital tools. She demonstrates how to increase student activity, visualize students’ previous knowledge and ongoing learning, give feedback and also how to facilitate giving and receiving peer response.
Patricia Diaz is a high school teacher of English and Spanish and is also a lead teacher focusing on digitally enhanced learning. She frequently lectures on how to support student learning and improve teaching and formative strategies using digital tools. She has written the books Arbeta formativt med digital verktyg (Formative assessment with digital tools) and Webben i undervisningen - digitala verktyg och sociala medier for lärande (Using the web in education - digital tools and social media for learning), both published by Studentlitteratur (2014 and 2012).
