Film night: Pride

location Arts at the Old Fire Station | 7 PM Tuesday 14 April (GMT)

Pride (2014)

Pride epitomises the power of unusual collaborations in changing the face of social action. It's a story of friendship, resilience and triumph, where the characters passion and determination for their cause is infectious. You'll leave inspired and desperate to engage in social action.

Pride is inspired by an extraordinary true story of UK gay activists working to help miners during their lengthy strike in the summer of 1984. As the strike drags on, the two groups discover that standing together makes for the strongest union of all.
