Wait, wait. We’ll be playing a slimmed down version of the rules. I’ve consolidated the abilities so you won’t get lost in the character sheet. It’s all good. Plus cops with super-powers on the beat? That’s a great concept. The rules will be simple and I’ll teach them. No worries. We’ll use pre-gen character templates, and you’ll get to pick from some easy constructed power sets.

Mutant City Blues is a mystery game, and I’ll be taking a case from core book or one of the supplements. If you like investigations and piecing things together, you probably dig it. One of the cool pieces of game tech is that powers linked together. So if you find evidence of say, Acid Spit and Sonic Blast on a scene, you’d know you’re probably looking at two preps. Those powers are far away on the “Quade Diagram,” that one person wouldn’t have both.
