Machine Learning and Musical Programming

Greetings Hacksmiths!

Our second weekly talk of the term will be held on Thursday at Goldsmiths. Dr Rebecca Fiebrink will speak on her work on the musical programming language ChucK, and her ongoing research project Wekinator, a system to use machine learning in live musical performance. In preparation, could you please install MiniAudicle and Wekinator.

No prior experience required!

We have received confirmation from the Students Union that from Thursday we will be able to sign up members - when you show Nevo or Hugh your confirmation of membership (the fee is £5 to be paid electronically at the SU website or in cash at the SU office) we’ll be able to give you your NFC enabled Membership card! These are great for hacking together some fun projects.

Don’t forget to sign up to our mailing list!
