Hacksmiths #5: minihack

location Goldsmiths University of London | Thursday October 30th, 5:30pm. NAB 314.

Git workshop

Hello Hacksmiths,

This week, we’re holding a mini-hackathon! We’ll be spending the evening making whatever we like, with whatever technologies we can. We’ve got an Intel Edison if anyone wants to give that a go. We will also bring in some Arduinos, Arduino Shields, a Leap Motion, and maybe a Raspberry Pi. If you've got your own devices, please feel free to bring them to hack with. NO SOLDERING IRONS OF ANY KIND! Don’t worry if you’re not a hardware nerd, we’ll be holding a small workshop on web apps for whoever’s interested. You’ll be able to hack along and have a small web hack by the end of the evening.

There will be refreshments, and the usual pile of stickers. We'll also be handing out membership cards to whoever's signed up. If you've not got around to that yet, here's the link! You can sign up online there, or with cash at the SU.

You should bring your own laptop - unfortunately we can't provide them.

Hope to see you there!
