HeadsUp Christchurch is pleased to invited you to the second event for 2016.
April the 4th heralded one of New Zealand’s most important legislative changes in the past decade. The Health and Safety in Employment Act was superseded by the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. This has profound implications for everyone involved in business, especially directors and those in governance.
Please join us to listen to a speaker from Work Safe about how Work Safe is looking to interpret the Act and how that will affect you. Worksafe speaker to be confirmed.
Matt Bishop from BVT Engineering Professional Services will then speak about risk prioritisation, what risks should you address first, risk intersections profiling, the concept of reasonably practicable and what you should do if a company you are a director of does have an accident, and what it could mean for you.
Speaker profiles: Matt Bishop: Matt is the Managing Director and founder of BVT Engineering Professional Services. Matt combines his love of technology with his love of problem solving to provide his clients with robust solutions. BVT prides itself on providing approachable, relevant, fast engineering solutions.
