Startup Immersion

| 10 AM Saturday 27 April — 6 PM Sunday 28 April (EET)

A weekend deep dive into the life and skills of an entrepreneur.

Startup Immersion is a hands-on experience covering the muddy exploration and hard decisions that founders face when getting their ideas off the ground.

Startup Immersion is different than most startup workshops. You'll pick an idea to develop, and work on it in a team - and you'll get guidance as quick, distilled guidance.

Over the day, you'll hear stories from real entrepreneurs, and apply their main lessons learned so you get the feel for it yourself. At the end, you'll have heard from a range of entrepreneurs, and tried some of their approaches yourself, so you can decide what's best for you and keep progressing.

Topics covered:

Startup Immersion covers the most important topics covered in startup accelerators - distilled into an intense weekend.

Learning from customers: Turn customer conversations into facts, decisions and action. Instead of collecting customer opinions, learn to assess their life and world-view so you can design a product they'll love.

Product Design: How do you decide which type of product to build, and how do you get the first version right?

Launching and making money: So many entrepreneurs start with nothing, but quickly build a money-making business. You'll learn how to get this speedy start.

Managing by the metrics. You'll learn the simple metrics framework that's used in 2 of the world's top performing startup funds. It'll show you what to measure, and how managing by these numbers keeps your whole team working towards the biggest impact on a weekly basis.

Team alignment. Why do startups with good ideas and paying customers fail? Mostly because the core team isn't properly aligned. They think they agree, but actually pull in different directions, slowing themselves down. We'll teach you a few exercises that expose misalignments early, and clearly point everyone towards common goals.
