Jeff Snyder - Instrument Building Workshop

Boa noite Hacksmiths (a tribute to all of our Brazilian members!),

First of all, we would like to apologise for the issues we've had with the room changing. It's now all sorted out so we're back at PSH(formerly known as NAB) 314. Please note that this week it will start at 18:00.

We are very excited to have Jeff Snyder come and do a talk this week at Hacksmiths! Jeff is the founder and lead designer of Snyderphonics, where he builds unusual and amazing electronic musical instruments. Definitely have a look at the Manta and the JD-1 keyboard/sequencer. He will be talking about physical computing and electronics in general, as well as his own work and products.

If you own any, please bring a tablet with you! (doesn't matter if Android or iOS)

On a different note, attendance has been rather sparse since we came back from reading week. We are more than happy to hear any suggestions you might have to improve the workshops and the talks, so feel free to point them out to us! We want everyone to learn new things and have a good time, so if anything is bothering you please let us know.

Bring your friends, it's going to be wicked!

See you there, Hugh & Nevo
