Interface 2015 Briefing & Get-Together
York’s creative businesses are being invited to pitch to the biggest brands in UK culture at a special networking event this September.
Join us for a pre-event briefing and get-together of the sector on Thursday 30 July at Nevermind bar to hear all about it.
Created and hosted by Shakespeare’s Globe, and presented in partnership with York UNESCO City of Media Arts, Interface 2015 will take place at York St John University on 9 September and see the likes of BBC, National Theatre, V&A, Channel 4, Penguin, Royal Court, Rambert Dance Company, Barbican, Imperial War Museums, and London Philharmonic Orchestra come to York.
York’s digital and creative SMEs, start-ups and providers have the chance for coveted face-to-face commissioning opportunities as they are put in front of budget holders from partnering cultural institutions. Partner institutions attending must have budget ring-fenced for digital and media arts commissioning in the next twelve months, making every meeting a genuine business opportunity.
Interface 2015 is completely free for participants and only 32 start-ups from the city will be chosen. More information and applications can be found at shakespearesglobe.com/interface.
Join us at this pre-event at Nevermind bar on Thursday 30 July where you will be able to meet the team from Shakespeare’s Globe and have any questions about the event and your application answered.
