Edtech Season Launch [SOLD OUT]
Over the last five years, £1bn has been invested into technology in UK schools, but its impact on education has been disappointing.
Now things are changing. Educators are starting to make more outcomes-focused ICT procurement decisions, and today’s education technology companies are increasingly creating products underpinned by proven pedagogical practices.
To celebrate this upswing, the London-based EdTech Accelerator, Emerge Education, in partnership with Eton College and Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, are organising the Edtech Season. The Edtech Season consists of 10 events and will be running from March until April (more about the other events here).
At the launch party we’re going to have drinks, music, and some great speakers including Ed Fidoe from School 21, Anna Smee from The Young Foundation, Ben Whatley from Memrise, Percy Harrison from Eton College and Jan Matern, CEO of Emerge Venture Lab.
Our live music will be an acoustic set from the incredible Lydia Baylis
