Back in the day, when we wanted to add a backbone to our applications we used Backbone.js. Since then we’ve seen the rise and fall of Knockout, Ember, Angular, React and now Vue. In the midst of all this, a small team kept on trucking with Backbone and built Marionette - a simple way of managing JS applications built on-top of your Backbone code.
Scott Walton is a part of that team and will be giving us a brief introduction to Marionette through the medium of the classic note-taking application. We’ll also look at how Scott got involved in Marionette and what you - as well as open source communities - can do to contribute to your favourite community.
