Keynes Society Presents: Where next for the Global Economy?

You are all cordially invited to the first of this year's Eton College Keynes Society Panel Events: "Where next for the Global Economy?" in School Hall on the 20th November.

Our illustrious panel of speakers include:

John Micklethwait: Editor-in-Chief of The Economist

Gerard Lyons: Renowned Author and Chief Economic Advisor to the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.

Professor Xiaolan Fu: Professor of Technology and International Development, at Oxford University, Author, and Founding Director of the Technology and Management Centre for Development.

Professor Robert H. Wade: Professor of Political Economy and Development at the LSE, Author and formerly of the World Bank.

We will will discuss several key areas in global economics. Topics will include: “Advanced Economies and Stagnation”, “A Comparison of the Future of China vs India”, “Emerging Markets: Especially the MINT Countries” and lastly “Interdependence and Globalisation: A Blessing or a Curse?”

The evening will last for around 90 minutes split between the Panel Debate itself and the Q&A session with the audience.
