Lunch Break at Makeshift: Featuring Stripe Founder John Collison

location 12 Mallow Street, London UK EC1Y 8RQ, UK | 12:15 PM-1:30 PM Friday 05 July 2013

Pack a lunch and head to Makeshift's offices just off the Old Street Roundabout for a lunch break chat on evolutions in online payments.

Stripe is one of the world's fastest growing Web payment enablers, allowing websites owners and developers to begin accepting payments online with little more than a few lines of code.

Since its launch in 2010, Stripe has raised nearly $40 million in funding, at an estimated $500 million valuation. Earlier this year, the Silicon Valley based startup launched its service in Europe and is now hiring in the UK.

The Irish-born Collison is back in town and visiting London this week. Come join us on our oversized bean bag chairs and comfy office furniture for a brief fireside chat style discussion with John Collison and Makeshift's Head of Networks Courtney Boyd Myers. The last 30-minutes will dedicated to Q&A.
