Ministry of Awesome presents Double Shot Session with our very own co-founder and trustee Kaila Colbin! In addition to her work with MoA, Kaila is known around town as the curator of TEDxChristchurch, but this session is about something different: exponential technologies.

Kaila recently attended the Executive Programme at Singularity University, which was founded by Ray Kurzweil and Peter Diamandis. Kurzweil, among myriad other accomplishments, is a member of the US National Inventors Hall of Fame and was called “the rightful heir to Edison” by Inc. Magazine. Diamandis started X-Prize, which develops contests for tech development. The SpaceX program, which led to the first private space flight, was an initiative of the X-Prize Foundation.

During her week at SU, Kaila learned about topics including nanotechnology, bioinformatics, future crimes, medicine and neuroscience, the future of work, energy and environmental systems, and more.

And now she's going to tell us all about it! Don’t miss this free, public session!
