Global Health Night Out/Journal Club
It’s that time again. After the great success of the first Global Health Night Out in October we are gearing up for one more. We will do it the night of Wed December 9th. This session’s topic will be
“Resuscitation in resource poor settings”
We’ll review some articles about the differences in management of patients in such settings? How pediatric resuscitation needs special attention to some important factors? What to do when you don’t have the tools you know and love? We’ll take a look at some guidelines from key agencies as well as review the recent literature.
As always, this is an opportunity for all of us to be exposed to important ideas we need to be familiar with in the field. Looking for suggestions for future topics of broad interest…
As important, it’s a venue for all of us to become familiar with our colleagues in other departments doing global health work here at Yale.
Resident leaders Gabriella Grisotti (Yale Surgery PGY4) and Carolyn McGann Mize (Yale Peds, PGY3)
