Music Tech Fest Boston Hackathon
Looking for the festival attendance signup? It’s over here.
Music Tech Fest comes to Microsoft Research Labs on 21-23 March as part of its world tour. Alongside a full programme of presentations, demos and performances from some of the best music tech minds, research institutions and innovative companies, we are also running a hackathon starting at midday Saturday with a prizegiving on Sunday afternoon.
With piles of toys to play with - from Surfaces, Kinects, and Xboxes to Arduinos, sensors and all manner of components - and some fantastic hack challenges and prizes.
Starting at Microsoft Research on Saturday at noon, and migrating to the incredible Redstar Union venue overnight, the hackathon will be unlike any you’ve ever attended. LJ Rich from BBC Click will be joining the hackathon, taking part and filming a special edition of the BBC Worldwide TV show as part of the event. We have musicians on hand to collaborate for performance-based hacks. We have free t-shirts and snacks.
Now we just need you. Sign up here to participate in the Music Tech Fest Boston Hackathon. We’re going to get together on Friday the 21st for a briefing at 2pm at Microsoft Research - and then the hackathon commences at noon on Saturday. See you there!
