Open Community Lab: Dementia Awareness Workshop #OCL15

location Cherry Red's Cafe Bar | 11:30 AM-1 PM Saturday 07 February 2015 (GMT)

Friends Information Session Awareness Workshop #OCL15

Join us for our second skill share workshop, this time in Birmingham. In this workshop, Mark Macleod will share information about dementia and provide an insight into what it is like living with dementia.

We’re hoping these sessions will help our community understand the needs of others (user design/user experience). People with dementia can not always tell us what their needs are to know what to we want so we need to design with their unknowing needs in mind.

The idea is for our community to share their skill sets with a variety of 'workshops' throughout the year. Please know all skills need to be shared!

Mark your calendars:

January 28th: Ludvig Lohse will be running a Tech in Museums

February 7th: Mark Macleod will be running a Dementia Awareness Workshop in Birmingham

March 26: Al Dean (Fab Lab Orga) has a Developer 3D Conference at Warwick Arts Centre.

August 18-20: Unconfirmed: Open Community Lab for Kids in Birmingham. Please let me know if you're interested in helping with this.
