This month we will continue with our bots for Robot Game (http://robotgame.net/).
The idea of Robot Game is to write an AI bot to control a robot army to do battle against another.
For those that did not attend March’s meet up I will give a brief intro to the task and thereafter we’ll split up into groups to work on our bots.
As usual we will be hosted by the ace folks at @ignite100 at Campus North.
Pizza will be courtesy of our kind sponsors Sharpe Recruitment (@sharperecruit) and Pebble.
Group coding in code dojos are a great opportunity to learn from others (and are fun too!). The best bit is at the end when we’ll battle our bots against each other and review each others’ code.
Everyone from Python beginners to pros are welcome, and should get something out of it.
A pdf copy of March’s tutorial is available on Github here: https://github.com/pythonnortheast/slides/tree/master/2014/mar
And the example code and one of the bots created in the March dojo is available here: https://github.com/pythonnortheast/slides/tree/master/2014/mar
@ignite100’s Campus North is down the hill from the Body Zone Gym and Cornerstone Cafe on the corner of Carliol Square. Please knock and someone will let you in.
Hope to see you there!
