The Science Gallery London team are delighted to host the December DrinksThing! Join us from 6:30pm for an exclusive after hours gathering with festive drinks and nibbles and a chance to explore the HOOKED exhibition.
Science Gallery London is a free to visit space in London Bridge. Part of King's College London, it is a vibrant, interactive place where art and science collide through exhibitions and events developed by artists, scientists and young adults. The Gallery features exhibition spaces, a theatre, a modern British café and a shop. As part of the project, Guy’s Courtyard has been transformed from a car park into a newly-landscaped public square.
HOOKED delves into the complex world of addiction and recovery through a free exhibition and events programme, drawing on world-leading research from King's College London. From gambling to gaming and smartphones to social media, HOOKED invites you to question what makes us as humans vulnerable to addiction and interrogates the underlying factors and routes to recovery. We invite you to challenge the stigmas associated with addiction, consider addiction as a health issue we are all susceptible to, and explore how recovery takes many forms.
Since 2012, people from museums, publishing, animation, tech, heritage and more have joined us for DrinksThing. This is an event for anyone that wants to meet with interesting people in London.
We hope to see you there, Mar & Will
