Spoke: Rapid talks about cycling.

Cyclehack London presents Spoke in collaboration with Look Mum No Hands. Each speaker will share their thoughts on cycling in 6'ish minutes. Rants, raves, research and love letters. Expect the unexpected.

Speakers include

  • Lina López, Director of EnCicla – the first bike sharing system in Columbia
  • James Kennedy, Founder of Kennedy City Bicycles – bike builders for the urban cyclist
  • Sarah Drummond, Co-Founder of Cyclehack
  • Jessica Datta, Lecturer at the LSHTM and co-author of Cycling and the city: a case study of how gendered, ethnic and class identities can shape healthy transport choices
  • Priya Prakash, Founder of Changify recently titled 'The Pothole Hunter' by The Sunday Times
  • Philip Diprose, Editor of The Ride Journal
  • Chris Herring, Wed developer and creator of Measured Effort – a cycle racing analytics tool
  • Jacqui Ma, Cycle style blogger and founder of Goodordering – an East London bag company

Cyclehack is a global movement bringing people together to improve cycling in their city. In addition to hosting Spoke they also organise events in over 35 cities globally. Join them for their annual 'hackathon' from June 24th – 25th at locations throughout London.

Look Mum No Hands - founded in 2010 - is a trailblazer combining a cafe, a bicycle workshop, a bar, and exhibition space to become one of the first Cycle Cafes.
