TAP: Summer Salon

location Orbital | 6 PM-8 PM Tuesday 23 June 2015 (EST)

Technologists for the Advancement of Poetry, or TAP, is a loose collective of people who like poetry and want to see it thrive.

Join us Tuesday June 23 for our first get-together. It will be a wine-and-cheese fueled discussion of how we can use technology to support poets and poetry.

Possible topics include:

  • What would GitHub for poetry look like?
  • Helping small presses find a larger audience online
  • A procedurally generated journal of procedurally generated poetry
  • What is the ideal way to experience a poem on a screen?
  • Where can we embed poetry in the everyday lives of New Yorkers?

We will leave plenty of time for readings and unstructured conversation.
