Join us for a two day "hackathon" exploring tech infrastructure for the future social sector.

Digital technology and transformation are rising up the social sector’s list of priorities, but with a narrow focus on startups and organisational projects. That leaves a huge opportunity untapped - what digital technology could achieve if we were working on the underlying infrastructure of the sector itself. How do charities find out what’s already been built that they could reuse and repurpose? How can we surface common challenges and opportunities shared by multiple organisations, and attack them together? How can we connect the right tech expertise in the private sector with needs in charities and social enterprises?

We'll work together over the two days to design, develop and deliver practical and tangible new products, services or initiatives to realise a new wave of tech infrastructure for the social sector. The first day will focus on ideas, processes, and thinking, while the second day will focus on turning that thinking into practical action. You are free to attend the first day only, if that is your preference.
