Care & Technology Brainstorm

location City University London | 1 PM-4 PM Wednesday 07 January 2015 (GMT)

An afternoon of informal show-and-tell, good nosh and chatter

There are innovators working to solve the complex challenges faced in dementia care with technology, from many different angles, institutions, communities and sectors, each working more or less separately with insight into a particular piece of the puzzle. We’d very much like to bring everyone together to share learning, surface insights and hopefully even collaborate to overcome some of these challenges at scale.

Wednesday’s event will provide a place to meet, talk and share ideas and opportunities around care and technology to pursue throughout the year. After a short lunch and introduction, we will facilitate a creative session to:

  1. Discover the key dementia care challenges that technologies could be applied to in 2015;
  2. Understand what technologies are emerging for use in dementia care work;
  3. Explore how different dementia care challenges could be met through different care technologies.

Our aim is to generate a new agenda for dementia care and technology to pursue, as a community, through 2015 and beyond.
