During this workshop, you'll get information about the world of terrariums and, the best part, you will build your own terrarium to take home and enjoy.
What is a terrarium you ask? It's a sealed glass container that holds a variety of plants and soil. By sealing the glass, a unique environment is created for the plants to grow in.
Marleen is a Community Associate here (she's the one watering the plants so say hi!). For a few years now, Marleen has been taking care of many plants. At her previous workplace, at home, and now also at Techspace. She’s added building terrariums to her repertoire, as she was very impressed by these beautiful, tiny little green worlds.
Many people around her have been asking about them, and have said that they would like to have one as well, so she got the idea from her colleagues to carry out workshops for Techspace members.
All supplies needed will be provided and are included in the costs of the workshop (30 EUR per person), including a nice variety of plants you can use. Marleen will give you some information on the plants and also how to care for your terrarium after you take it home.
The best thing about a terrarium is that the care part is very minimal, so even someone without a green thumb can enjoy their own little green world.
Sign up ASAP as spots are limited to 10 participants.
